A male individual was experiencing extended crown baldness and a receding hairline. This included hair loss in the lateral flaps, which caused disconnection of parietal scalp hair.
The challenge was to maximise the limited donor area to achieve adequate crown coverage, address the disconnected parietal scalp hair, and restore the receding hairline for a youthful look.
Hair Transplant Strategy and combined approach
Dr Bonaros performed a two-day Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) surgical procedure with 3,102 grafts (5,635 hairs). A customised treatment plan was used to optimise donor area usage and strategically address crown, lateral flap, and receding hairline concerns.
