Case Study: Comprehensive Restoration for Norwood Stage 6 Hair Loss
Patient Profile
The Challenge
The patient’s extensive hair loss required a strategic and comprehensive approach to achieve satisfactory coverage and a natural-looking result. This involved blending existing and transplanted hair to seamlessly integrate the existing hair tuft on the left side into the hairline design.
Hair Transplant Strategy
The patient underwent an extensive two-day Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure. Dr Bonaros utilised 4,012 grafts (8,784 hairs) to restore the crown, mid-scalp, upper crown, and hairline. Careful graft allocation helped ensure appropriate coverage and density.
End Results
The procedure successfully achieved the patient’s desired hair coverage and density. The existing hair tuft was seamlessly integrated with the transplanted hair, resulting in a natural and harmonious appearance.
