Hair Transplant Case Study: Age-Appropriate Crown Coverage and Hairline Revitalisation
Patient Profile
A male patient in his sixties was experiencing hairline recession and crown area thinning.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to provide adequate coverage for the crown and revitalise the hairline without significantly lowering it. This would result in a natural and age-appropriate result that suited the patient’s mature appearance.
Hair Transplant Strategy
A two-day Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) surgery was planned to restore the crown and provide a subtle hairline enhancement, with focus given to achieving a balance between coverage and aesthetics. A total of 3,413 grafts (7,515 individual hairs) were transplanted, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing and natural-looking outcome.
End Results
The patient’s crown area was restored to address hair thinning and enhance overall density. The hairline was revitalised without significant alteration, maintaining an age-appropriate and natural-looking appearance.
