Hair Transplant Case Study: Front and Mid-Scalp Rejuvenation With A Natural Look
Patient Profile
A male individual was experiencing hair thinning across the top and front of the scalp.
The Challenge
The patient presented with thinning hair across the top and frontal regions, requiring a customised treatment plan to achieve maximal coverage and density in a single surgical session. The challenge was to preserve the existing hairline without lowering it and focus on enhancing density within the current boundaries. The procedure included extending the coverage to the mid-scalp area for a cohesive and natural result.
Hair Transplant Strategy
A collaborative decision was made with the patient to retain the current hairline height and concentrate on maximising graft utilisation to enhance density within the existing boundaries. During a Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant, Dr Bonaros strategically allocated 1,814 grafts (4,752 hairs) to extend hair coverage all the way back to the mid-scalp.
End Results
The procedure resulted in successful coverage and density enhancement across the top and front of the scalp, extending back to the mid-scalp region. Maintaining the existing hairline height helped achieve cohesive, natural-looking results.
