The Difference Between Male and Female Hairlines
The main differences between feminine and masculine hairlines are the hairline shape, the way the hair flows and the ageing pattern. Feminine hairlines are typically positioned lower down the forehead, while masculine hairlines tend to be further back.
In terms of hairline shape:
- Men tend to experience a receding hairline around their temples which forms an ‘M’ shape.
- Women, on the other hand, generally have a rounder hairline for most of their lives.
